: Thanks, But No Thanks.Life philosophy & baked goods
Since no one ever calls me, this was sort of surprising. Upon opening the message, I found an extra-special photo from Funny Mean Friend: a cookie, iced (white) emblazoned in big red writing with the motto "I win." *
Because FMF does win. It's both a statement of fact and a life philosophy.
As a result, my new project is to find a life-motto that I can put onto a baked good. Really, it could be an excellent method of communication: pink frosting with white letters ("bite me!"), blue and yellow ("More cake!"), Funfetti ("I *heart* John Cusack"), orange & cream ("go away).
It would really cut down on my verbosity, I think. More customizable than conversation hearts, and less seasonal- no restrictions on when & how one could communicate (long words = big cookies!). Also, it would eliminate the need to talk to anyone- here's a cookie & a smile, Gunnerific (Blue & white, with sprinkles: "shut up.")
Until such time as I am able to brainstorm enough frosting-mottos to communicate my needs & desires to the outside world, I think I'll be in the kitchen, pretending I can't find my Property book. Wooooo. Its a new week, kids!
Until later, I am yours in baked goods.
* Incidentally, for pictures of the magical cookie wonder, you should check out FMF's blog, Rockin' the Schoolhouse. She is hysterical, and also, uses terms like "doomcookie." As in: "My little doomcookies all turned their homework in late, and now I'm forced to listen to their insufferable excuses."
