Barista Sues Starbucks for ?Cluster-Bomb? Approach to Competition | ABA Journal - Law News Now

This is an interesting extension of the antitrust law and unfair business practices - exclusive lease deals to prevent the growth of competition in prime markets. Upon reflection - though, this can’t be the first time a company has come up with this kind of a business plan - nor can it be the first time someone has sued as a result. The injunction in federal court is very interesting though - nice to see the little guy thinking big. The only chance America has to keep innovation alive and well and having something to show as far as an economy.
