: IBLS Internet Law BlogI purchased a DVD collection and did not get all the episodes, can I get my money back?
By IBLS Editor
Hi, I purchased a DVD collection over the internet for a show that was never officially released, but dvd collections were made by several different sources. The show is The Wonder Years and I purchased it from an online retailer called dvdglobe.tv . The description said it included all 115 episodes and an episode guide so you can find any episode at any time. Well, I got my dvd's and I discovered that not all the episodes were there. I'm pretty familiar with the show so i know that many episodes were missing, and there was no episode guide like they said there would be. There were about 60 episodes instead of the 115 that they said there would be. I emailed them demanding a refund and they have not responded, its been about a week. And to make matters worse, they shipped it from China. Does this mean they can get away with this just because it's from China? Is there any way I will get my money back?
