Success

This weekend I met up with one of my blog readers, Melissa. I was worried (the aforementioned reasons, most notably, what if she found my real life-persona not nearly as cool as my blog persona?) but I'd say the outing was a smashing success. We went out in search of mittens, which were found (including a gl-itten pair for me so I can iPhone in the winter) & purchased. We went to Starbucks where we eerily ordered the exact same thing (seriously, cue the Twilight Zone music now) and we browsed a fun shopping area in Lincoln Park. And we told stories and laughed and flipped through magazines at Borders. All in all, it was lovely.

This weekend, Katie/La-a is coming into town & the usual contingent of Chicago bloggers are coming over to my teensy, tiny apartment to drink some wine & eat dessert. Melissa is going to come as she often chats with Katie and who am I to deny them the opportunity to meet in real life?

My only worry now (other than the usual, OMG what if Katie looks under my bathroom cabinet, I should probably go organize it RIGHT NOW) is what if Melissa & Katie have a great time and then decide I'm the loser face and vote me off the island? Um. Yes. Clearly I should go and wash all my guest towels in the most lovely smelling laundry soap I can find & perhaps hire a butler for the weekend. Or something.
