Mid-Day Monday With Madoff--I'm Answering Mail

To the several readers that are making a nuisance with their nonsense about Sonny Delaire.

Let's get something straight, between two meshugana sons, Sonny Cohn, Sonny Delaire, and my sister Sonnie, I'm up to my pupik with "sonny this" and "sonny that". So, understand if its hard for me to keep anything straight.

Right now, I'm enjoying the sunny day on the penthouse patio.

But, to the reader(s) that are asking : "Did you know that Sonny Delaire--your former partner at Cohmad, has a kid named Bret that works in the market regulation department at the NYSE and has (allegedly) been giving his Dad a heads up on what investigators are looking into?"

My answer: Who do I look like? Columbo??!! Throwing names around, and making accusations is something that the people at the NY Times are good at, not me. I don't know anyone named Bret. Do I, Ruth?

Anyway, there are probably more Delaire's in the world than there are Madoffs. It doesn't have to mean they're related to each other! And if there is a connection and someone was doing something they shouldn't do, don't you think Mr. Prosecutor would have figured that out by now?

So stop asking me about Sonny Delaire. I've got enough problems dealing with Ruth and explaining to her the difference between viaticals and viagra!!
