Grades and Such

By Andrea

ADVERTISEMENTS

Still here. Very tired. All worth it. That'll be the short version of my life for a while.

Fall grades came in last week - all except my Admin grade, since the dean didn't finish them yet. The three I got were...ridiculously good. Hilariously so. I even got my first A+ in law school, in the class I missed the most. This school is so silly. I'll take it, it's just funny since by finals I was super pregnant, had a great job, and had put grade stress very low on my priority list. My transcript now looks crazy good. I almost wish I could swap it with someone who cared more that I do.

Admin will probably be my lowest grade of the semester, but even so, this semester entails taking three seminars (which are not curved) and a pass/fail independent clinical. What this means is that it is a virtual lock that I will graduate from HLS cum laude.

Heh!

Still, other accomplishments overshadow this one. Today Becca had a huge, adult-sized booger in her nose, and I TOTALLY got that thing out. Then we took another bath, and she did not make ONE noise. Yesterday at the doctor, we learned that she is already back up past her birth weight, grew an inch, and is healthy as can be. Also, my body is still a total mess, but there are positive ways to look at it, like that since giving birth I've lost 15 pounds and gained a cup size. So we're doing pretty well around here.
