: ButterflyfishClownfish's football picks
So yesterday, Bullshark asked Clownfish to pick which team he wanted to see win.
Clownfish picked the Seahawks and was about as "invested" in a game as a three-year-old can be. He only watched when his team had the ball and did little dances whenever the Seahawks scored. He even took some ownership -- *I* caught the ball! *I* am winning!
The Seahawk game ended at bedtime, but before he went to sleep, Bullshark asked who Clownfish wanted to win in the second game. He picked the Jaguars.
Record so far: Clownfish 2 for 2.
My theory: he likes animals and doesn't know what a Steeler or Red Skin is.
Bullshark decided to test this theory and asked him to pick between the Tennessee Titans and the San Diego Chargers. No animals there. What would he do? We didn't let him see the uniforms . . . he's not going on colors . . .
Without hesitation, Clownfish took the Chargers. Why? They've got Diego!!
As to Giants and Buccaneers, Clownfish picked the Giants, but probably because he didn't realize Buccaneers are pirates who say aarrrgh!
Updates to follow.
Update: Giants victory, Clownfish 3-3.
Update #2: Ok, the kid is 4-4.
Clownfish picks for next week:
Jaguars (over the Patriots! *I know!*) and the Colts over the Chargers.
Stay tuned . . .
