Sometimes relationships can be really difficult. I was reminded of this fact last night upon realizing that I am probably the only person in the entire state of Florida uninterested in watching the Florida Gators beat the Oklahoma Sooners (24-14) to win Florida's third BCS title. As I asked my Significant Other, can't we just watch the recap on Sports Center? His response was to turn up the volume several decibels without comment.
Fortunately I was able to escape to a secondary TV room where I wallowed in "sports widowhood" while enjoying Stephen Colbert's interview of famed copyright guru Lawrence Lessig. By happy circumstance, the Law Library recently purchased a copy of Lessig's new book Remix : Making Art and Commerce Thrive in the Hybrid Economy which I am totally checking out. Yep, it's good to be the Acquisitions Librarian.
Lessig also maintains a blog. Readers can subscribe for posting and podcast updates via an RSS feed.
