Madoff Film Rights: Don't Get Scammed!!

ADVERTISEMENTS

I just heard that at least two different groups are telling investors that they've got the rights to produce an "indie film" based on my story. Bullshit. If anyone wants to talk about movie rights, they can fill in the Contact Me box on the left side of this page.

Yeah, I know all about that guy Rich Behar, he's the guy from Fortune that just got a book contract to write about me. Blah Blah Blah.. Yeah, I heard that he's already being hounded for a movie deal. Big deal; its not authorized by me, and I'll sue his ass if he slanders me. He's been sued before!

I'm telling you right now that movie deals are the OLDEST scam around. Which is exactly why Steve Spielberg, Jeff Katzenberg, and even that shagetz kid Kevin Bacon knew it was safer to put money with me than plow it into some indie film, where budgets are padded more than the bras that Walter Noel's daughters wear!

See that picture in upper left?? Those are two Hollywood "big shot" film producers with more lawsuits than I have Brioni suits in my closet! The guy on the left is a schmuck named David Glasser, the other guy is Bob Yari..another know-it-all.

You know how I know?? One of my investors got scammed by Glasser a few years ago, and only found out after the fact this guy had been found guilty in 3 different fraud suits in 3 different states. The little shit had already piled up millions in default judgments for fraud and theft!

Yari is someone I would never let invest in my business. He's a Mr. Smarty Pants. One of his movies made something like $400 million and cost under $10 mil to make. Ask his investors how they're doing on that one! He and Glasser told everyone the movie was unprofitable. Talk about book keeping? Right??

Listen, compared to what's out there, I've been a saint. My investors always checked me out, so did their lawyers. Sure, we had a few fines at the firm. Who on Wall Street wasn't fined for something>?? But, nobody ever complained, nobody said bad things about me, and everyone always got their money exactly when they asked for it. Always with a profit. My record keeping was meticulous.

Moral of the story? Stay away from Hollywood movie deals, especially if the little shit on the left pitches them to you. He's working for a guy named Bob Weinstein now. Don't ask me how this guy is still walking around.
