ADVERTISEMENTS

Today's New York Times features an article entitled "Google Hopes to Open a Trove of Little-Seen Books."  The article deals with Google's library book scanning project and how Google is providing access to a large database of scanned books.  Issues involve copyright infringement, access, increased reference utility, and possible price inflation of the database as the content expands.  The article is available at: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/01/05/technology/internet/05google.html?_r=1&ref=business&pagewanted=print
