: Legally Blonde AmbitionDay 1 of Unemployment
By "Daisy Duke"
ADVERTISEMENTS
If it wasn't so depressing, I'd probably do a daily something on it. Maybe on the bottom of all of my posts I'll count, a little reminder to the world that Hello! Daisy is unemployed during our nation's "worst modern day financial crisis." But again with the depressing. And the melancholy. First, I have to just say thank you. For the comments, the emails, the text messages, and the assorted Chicago crowd that took me out last night for buckets of Corona's, which is now a drink that I can cross off my list of ever needing again. I plan on responding to every email personally this afternoon. This morning however is dedicated to getting rid of the shakes (damn you buckets of Corona) and making myself presentable before a coffee meeting with a friend of mine with his own law firm. It appears they have a small amount of contract work I can take to bring some extra cash while I bide my time looking for real employment. BPLF is also having a meeting next week to see if they have enough work to take me back as a clerk.
And also, I have to say ugh. My liver hurts. And my pride. And my head.
