In einem Artikel über eine wünschenswerte Erweiterung der Freihandbibliothek St. Gallen (CH) steht ein ermutigender Satz:

«Was die Bibliotheken betrifft, herrscht in Europa und darüber hinaus eine ausgesprochene Aufbruchstimmung»

Bibliotheken als die “Kathedralen der heutigen Zeit”? Vielleicht ein bisschen hoch gegrifffen. In St. Gallen jedenfalls kümmert sich eine Projektgruppe um die Idee einer neuen Stadt- und Kantonsbibliothek. [ via Tagblatt]
