: Structured Settlements 4RealJ.G. Wentworth Downgrade Is A Severe Test Of Hindert Credibility
By John Darer
The structured settlement industry will now await Patrick Hindert's response to the JG Wentworth downgrade by Standard & Poors.
JG Wentworth "suck up" Patrick Hindert, a member of the NSSTA, SSP and former Executive Director of both, has so far characterized JG Wentworth as "structured settlement thought leaders", devoted 3 posts (and promised more) to a statistically irrelevant survey conducted by JG Wentworth and generally given off the impression that he has more than a casual relationship with the company.
Patrick Hindert had never written a single post about AIG prior to the AIG downgrade in mid September 2008. Since then he has written 8 or so posts and created a "one eyed" wiki on the subject. So what's HIndert going to do now? For someone who practically lives and breathes factoring, who has done so for the last 4 years, for the most part ignoring the factoring industry members' false advertising practices and has waxed googly about the "Bryn Mawr Bunch", while at the same time being permitted by the NSSTA Board to serve on 3 influential committees, ANY measure of silence has to be seen as the nail in his credibility coffin.
