NaBloPoMo Ends

ADVERTISEMENTS
A post a day for 30 days. Done. It's a pyrrhic victory. Yes, I did it, but the price was a lot of truly awful blogging. And this is someone who has a pretty low opinion of her own blog to begin with. Maybe there were some decent posts in this mess, but they quickly got bumped by dreck.

So, as a final November post, I collected everything I did this month and put them in categories. So all those readers who looked at Bloglines or Google Reader one Friday night and decided to click "mark all as read" rather than wade through the dreck have a second chance to, well, ignore this post too.

I am not a really good judge of my own blog . . . I mean I can spot the true blog dreck, but I am not sure I can spot quality. I picked three . . . three of over thirty . . . that I thought were particularly honest or captured what I was feeling or were amusing. If you want to know what's been going on here this month, they pretty much cover it.

If you spotted anything else worth reading in the dreck, comment and let me know.

Quality(?):
He loves me, he just wants me to die an agonizing death.
Gay Marriage I
Grades ... now with more angst!

Now: the posts of November:

Law school related:
Professionally responsible
MPRE fail
Class selection for the last time
How I disturb everyone.
Show me your bra!
Grades ... now with more angst!
Exam music

Clownfish:
He tells me what to do.
He loves me, he just wants me to die an agonizing death
Conception (green bean tales)

MILP Round-ups:
#70 (here)
#71
#72 (here)
#73
#74

I went to the 'meme well' less often than I thought I would:
The colors
It is in the manly way I walk, like John Wayne in a skirt.

Election & issues, serious and not:
SNL
Conceding in style
Gay Marriage I
Gay marriage II

Awful, awful excuses for blog posts:
Comment whoring about a new blog layout.
Song lyrics
Yes, lyrics again
Quoting a law school class without even attempting to give the reader any context to make it as funny as it was in the moment
Follow up (getting your answers here)
Black Friday (a 'this is what i will do today' that is not remotely funny)

Sub-category of awful: Geeky dorky me:
This is why I married him
Pathetic attempt at search engine humor . . . think pirate toast
Web comics

Sub category of awful: NaBloPoMo related:
Begining
This post: The End

NB: NaBloPoMo was terrible. Really. I will never do it again. It didn't generate good blogging, nor did it generate any new readers as far as I can tell. Furthermore, I will shun your blog during the month of November hereafter if you do it. And by 'shun' I mean 'read the first sentence on my bloglines... maybe.'
