THE SCUDERI GROUP, LLC, Plaintiff v. LGD TECHNOLOGY, LLC, and Zheng (David) Lou, Ph.D., Defendants.

An engine development company brought action against component manufacturer for misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, breach of covenant of good faith and fair dealing, and misrepresentation and fraud. Defendants moved to dismiss or for transfer to Eastern District of Michigan. The District Court, Ponsor, J., adopting report and recommendation of Neiman, Chief United States Magistrate Judge, held that: (1) manufacturer was "transacting business" in Massachusetts; (2) manufacturer's actions constituted action within Massachusetts; and (3) jurisdiction in Massachusetts comported with due process. Motion denied.
