Nestlé Prepared Foods Company has announced a recall of 900,000 pounds of frozen meals because they may contain small foreign objects, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.
The objects were identified as small pieces of plastic, which were found after the company received consumer complaints. One consumer has reported injury.
The recall is classified as a Class I, a “health hazard situation where there is a reasonable probability that the use of the product will cause serious, adverse health consequences or death.”
