On March 3, 2008, Costco Wholesale recalled about 10,358 pounds of 12-ounce packages of ?Discover Cuisine? Red Curry Chicken & Jasmine Rice? entrees because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

Produced on October 18, 2007, the recalled Costco frozen chicken entrees were sent to retail establishments in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah and Washington. Microbiological sampling uncovered the possible Listeria contamination. No illnesses have been associated with the recalled chicken.
