Silence in the library

One hundred years ago, the universe’s greatest library was sealed off, leaving only an enigmatic warning: “Count the shadows”. But now, the shadows are moving again. The Doctor and Donna must uncover the terrible truth behind the Nodes and the Data Ghosts, to find the library’s secret, and on the way they try to avoid the Vashta Nerada, piranhas of the air, shadows that melt the flesh.

Ende des Monats erscheint die komplette vierte Staffel der neubelebten “Doctor Who”-Serie auf DVD in den UK. Der Zweiteiler “Silence in the library“/”Forest of the Dead“. spielt nicht nur, wie oben angedeutet, in einer Bibliothek - das ist eine ganze Bibliothekswelt! Einige Szenen der Folgen wurden übrigens in der Old Swansea Library sowie der Brangwyn Hall in Swansea gedreht. Dass die Folge zudem recht Furcht einflössend daherkommt daran ist Steven Moffat Schuld, der ab 2010 dann der neue Produzent werden wird. Bin mal gespannt, was für ein Rating die beiden Folgen haben werden - ich tippe auf “ab 12″.
