Is it really over? After two long years of campaigning? Has the result hit you yet?

Personally, I am absolutely thrilled about the national results. What a long way we have come in my lifetime. I wasn't sure I would ever see this day. Now, truly, any American can realistically dream of any achievement. It's a great day for our country, and I think even those who wished for a different outcome do recognize the historic and positive effect of Barack Obama's victory.

I am also happy with our local, Dallas County, results. I'm disappointed by many of the state-wide races, but all things considered last night was a good night for my clients.
