Well, there are lots of reasons. But this campaign has been astonishingly incompetent. On Monday, CNN was showing Sarah Palin campaigning in Dubuque, Iowa. Iowa, for crying out loud. The average lead in the polls for Obama in Iowa is 15.5 points. McCain doesn't have a prayer of winning Iowa. A total waste of time and resources. She should have been in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Colorado or Nevada for every waking moment.
