The Craziest McCain Map

ADVERTISEMENTS
I just made a crazy McCain map on 270towin.com.

It's a 270-268 victory for McCain, and several very fortunate things, all unlikely, have to occur for it to happen.

First, what McCain doesn't need to do -- carry Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, Missouri, or Iowa.

Second, what McCain would need to do -- carry Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, Ohio, and, yes, Pennsylvania.

I actually won't be too surprised if McCain actually pulls it out in NC, Va., OH, and FL. But that Pennsylvania flip is so unlikely.

Nonetheless, the polls are closing in PA. McCain has shaved off about 5 points since his Kamikaze strategy started (which, btw, is improperly named, since McCain isn't giving his life in order to ensure success; hail mary is the better term).
