This morning, KGO Newstalk AM 810 in San Francisco became the first broadcast media outlet in California to transmit using solar power. Speaker Pelosi flipped the solar power switch on KGO’s Ronn Owens Show saying, “Congratulations to you and to KGO. Thank you for saying that we’re all part of history to be here for this, but we’re also all part of the future. This is absolutely great and it’s a manifestation of the policies that we have to present in our country to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and foreign oil…so congratulations to KGO for taking this giant step into the future. I am delighted to be here with you.”
