DOE releases final NCLB regulations

ADVERTISEMENTS

Remember the No Child Left Behind Act? With the law's reauthorization still pending, the U.S. Department of Education issued its final Title I regulations today that include requiring states to use a uniform high school graduation rate formula. (Note: the pdf of the regs is 441 pages). Additional, more manageable, details from the DOE are available here.

See NSBA's formal comments on and analysis of the proposed regulations from earlier this year.

Meantime, Education Week has an early look at the final regs.
