: The MenagerieSunday Sushi
One of these Sundays, I'm not going to work. Today, at least, the day was broken up by Sunday Sushi Date Afternoon (not to be confused with Friday Family Date Night, which was preempted by Matthew being home sick). Peach has a HUGE crush on Nick, the sushi chef, and today he made her this little treat, with tofu, tuna salad, roe, egg, and whatever the green spouts are.
Unfortunately, she was only really into the roe and some of the egg. (These are all components she loves - you should see this kid scarf tofu and tuna!) ...it's just that she's entered the somewhat annoying (but sometimes amusing) toddler food control phase. Yesterday, she pretty much lived on egg, milk, and a Costco smoothie, despite all our prompting to the contrary. Today, at least, it was milk, cottage cheese, tuna salad, roe, some egg, pasta with red sauce, and grapes. Oh, and a couple of graham crackers.
