2.25 years and still know nothing...

ADVERTISEMENTS
I'm done with a total of 2.25 years of law school, which means I only have .75 more to go. And yet I still feel like I know absolutly nothing, which really isn't all that much different than how I felt heading into first year finals. I was at work yesterday, my boss asked me a "hypo" and to please give her my "off the top of the head answer" and I literally froze. I realized that I had no freaking clue "off the top of my head" what the answer should even kind of be, much less any freaking idea of how I should ratioanlly (and in very little time) explain my thoughts out loud. Oh....My.....Gosh......

Thankfully the horrendous torture passed and I returned to my glamourous life and researching and writing. But that scene stayed with me the rest of the day. How is it possible that after 2.25 years of law school, and another 1.5 years of interning in this particular office is it that I still sometimes feel as clueless as I did on day one of law school?
