Isn't it odd that a "cash now" representative is listed on the program for the Society of Settlement Planners booth for the AAJ meeting at the El Conquistador in San Juan, Puerto Rico.Download aaj_2008_winter_structured_settlement_exhibitors.pdf. Now check Bentzen's company address. A direct hit!  According to the SSP web site, the address of the Society of Settlement Planners is in Washington state, not Tennessee.

Connect the dots...by her recent admission 90% of Bentzen's clients are on the structured settlement factoring vig; two of those known to take the structured settlement factoring vig are members of the SSP. Only one member of the SSP is currently on the Structured Settlement Clean Vendor List.

Bentzen's cameo begs this question...

"How many more of the SSP members are on the structured settlement factoring vig?

1/30/2008 Correction: Our initial report had Bentzen manning the booth. Bentzen has responded that "I was planning on it (attending), but my life got in the way of attending this one". Given that Bentzen's "cash now" company address, phone and fax numbers are held out as the address and phone numbers of the Society of Settlement Planners in the program this takes no sting out of the point of the original post.
