Remarkable

Two amazing things happened today, both money-related.

1. I got a paycheck. I got paid for working at a law firm and it was not as a clerk. Praise jeebus!

2. We got money back from our mortgage company. Apparently we overpaid into our escrow account by $133 last year. Who knew?

I suppose it is tacky as all get-out to talk about money, but seriously - I am so glad the bar is over. For all the obvious reasons, and now for the additional reason that I don't have to worry every time I go to the grocery store that I'm going to make us broke, because I bring in no income.

Seriously. Paycheck. AND money from the mortgage company! That never happens!

Had my first training session of this season of "getting in shape, yo." My arms, they are like jelly. I am going to be ripped! But probably never as ripped as Dara Torres, sadly. And as soon as I am, I will move to the Republic of Cocktail-land and compete as an Olympic athelete. In the shopping competition, maybe...
