The trial is the thing

ADVERTISEMENTS
So my mock trial is a mere few days away.

I feel like I have some solid questions for cross (Are you now or have you ever been a member of the Communist party?)

I think I have a solid opening. (Everything that guy just said is bullshit. Thank you.)

I think I'll be able to do the steps to get evidence admitted. (Yo! Judge! Is it cool to show this the jury?)

I think I'll be ok objecting to stuff. (Objection! That's like hearsay or something! Or maybe its irrelevant. Either way, its like really damaging to my client.)

I might even be able to pull off some impeachment if the need arises. (Man, that's not what you said in your prior sworn statement, ya stinkin' liar.)

Yep. Totally prepared.
