Der schottische Hacker, der in tausende Computer von US-Behörden eingedrungen war und dort laut eigenen Angaben nach Informationen über UFOs suchte, hat seine Berufung gegen eine Auslieferung an die USA verloren.

Der Europäische Gerichtshof für Menschenrechte (ECHR) in Straßburg lehnte die Beschwerde von Gary McKinnon am heutigen Donnerstag ab. Der 42-Jährige werde in den kommenden zwei Wochen ausgeliefert, erklärte seine Anwältin in London. In den Vereinigten Staaten droht ihm nun eine langjährige Haftstrafe wegen Sabotage. (…)
