Syncing Software for the Mobile Lawyer

Laptops and wifi make it possible to work anywhere. There’s always the issue of syncing up your laptop files with the files on the office computer, though. One option is to put the files on an extranet. If you don’t want to go that route, there are several simple and inexpensive products that will ensure that all of your files are in sync.

Steven Richardson of the Legal Technology Blog discusses these products and how they can keep your files up-to-date here. He also reviews Microsoft’s free SyncToy 2.0, which is in Beta testing and currently available for free.
