The San Francisco Chronicle has this report by Joe Garafoli: Bill to Curb Online Sexual Predators: It Would  Try to Keep Pedophiles Off Social Networking Sites. This bill is a nice concept and the sponsors should be commended rather than criticized.  There will be enforcement problems.  Predators will get around the provisions because they will not use their registered email address to target kids.  However, I like that a predator can be charged for hiding their online alias. ...(read more)
