Trademark/Internet attorney promoted to parner at Christie Parker

Steeledavid David Steele was promoted to partner at intellectual property law firm Christie Parker's Newport Beach office.

Steele focuses on trademark law, Internet law and domain names and teaches on the subjects as an adjunct professor at Loyola Law School. He is a member of the Internet Engineering Task Force and the Boston Working group, helping the U.S. government transfer control of the Internet to the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers.

He graduated with a degree in electrical engineering and computer engineering and worked for Fibertron Corporation on the design and implementation of high speed computer networks. Most Christie Parker attorneys hold degrees in engineering or the sciences, the Metropolitan News-Enterprise reports.
