Yikes! It Looks Like We Could Get It.

The National Hurricane Center has issued a hurricane watch for the coast of western Louisiana and eastern Texas.  Edouard is still a tropical storm, but it is still possible for it to turn into a hurricane.  Regardless, most tropical storms are not fun either.  The main problem is that Edouard is moving slow and that means rain.  Lots and lots of rain.  Rain here is a generally a good thing, as long as it does not come all at once and for a good long time.  The last time that happened, Houston went under water.  The graph below shows that we could be the direct target.  I would say let us hope not, but then that means some other community would be the direct target, and that is not good either.
