Michael Wesch's Latest Video

Michael Wesch has loaded another great YouTube video on, well, YouTube. He is the wonderful ethnographer at Kansas State University who has done those great videos on learning and YouTube - Just search his name on YouTube for the set.

This one is called An anthropological introduction to YouTube. This was his 55 minute presentation at the Library of Congress on June 23rd 2008 (video loaded July 26). It is his talk sans PPT but with a number of sample videos to show his points.

Anyway, this guy is one of the most interesting thinkers on the cultural changes that are being expressed or maybe driven by web properties like YouTube. I've tried to get him to a few conferences and was never able to synch up. This video is the next best thing.
