It ignited a fiery exchange that ended the day at 11:00 a.m.Federal defender Judy Clarke said, ?We're not gunslingers or mouthpieces, we're counselors.? Clark told Judge Edward Lodge it was 'unprofessional' and 'unethical' for them to continue in standby capacity now that Duncan act (sic) as his own attorney. Lodge's response to Clarke was direct and sharp, ?Your statement was eloquent, but not relevant...? "Not relevant"? Judy Clarke? There's one more error for the record.
