: Mike Conaway's BlogOne Step Closer to Securing America’s Bridges
Last night, Mike offered an amendment to the National Highway Bridge Reconstruction and Inspection Act. The amendment included language from the “Bridge Life Extension Act of 2008” (H.R. 6234). The amendment was accepted by the Chairman of the Transportation Committee, Rep. Oberstar, and he agreed that language should be included in next year’s transportation bill.
