Staatspräsident Slobodan Milosevic wurde am 27. Mai 1999 vor dem Internationalen Strafgerichtshof (IStGH) für das ehemalige Jugoslawien, International Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, (ICTY) in Den Haag angeklagt.

Am 3. Juli 2001 fand die erste Anhörung vor dem Tribunal statt, bei der Slobodan Milosevic das Gericht als “illegal” bezeichnete. Seit Prozessbeginn übernahm Milosevic die Verteidigung in eigener Sache. (…)
