I have an addiction

I am obsessed with sea glass. I mean, really obsessed. I can spend hours on a beach with my head bent to the sand. It is almost meditative for me. So imagine how I spent more than a few hours on the beaches of Hawaii? That's right, engaging in my favorite past time. The first place we stayed was right on the beach, and on the very first day I found that a certain spot on the beach was covered in the most beautiful, perfect sea glass ever. I took home a nice storage bag full of huge pieces. Then we went to our second island and very close to our hotel was a beach that was renowned for being almost totally composed of sea glass. Instead of sand, patches of the beach are just tiny pieces of rounded pebbles of glass. Here is one of our pics: So all in all I lugged home a couple of pounds of glass...continue to full post
