If you enjoy law related humor, these two books recently added to the law library will make you smile.

In The Little Green Book of Golf Law: the Real Rules of the Game of Golf, author John H. Minan selected nineteen cases corresponding to the typical eighteen holes -- plus one --played in a round of golf. These actual cases explore a wide variety of legal issues -- such as personal injury, negligence, contract disputes, patent disputes, tax deductions -- with a little levity added. If you are a golfer and also enjoy legal humor, this is a great book for you.

The Dictionary of Legal Bullshit by Randall C. Young gives the "plain English" meaning of legal terminology. Whether browsing the glossary of terms or the list of preeminent law firms, it is fun to look at the silly side of things.

Both books can be found on the "New Books" display at the libray.
