Famed corporate raider, private equity investor and multi-billionaire, Carl Icahn, has finally started blogging.  Welcome to The Icahn Report.  And, if any of you guys and gals out there are thinking about ripping off Carl's title, do not even think about it.  It is trademarked.  Damnit Icahn.  I was going to change the name of my blog to Chuck Newton Rides The Icahn Report.  But, that plan has been thwarted.

What is interesting is that most of us just set up and start blogging.  We get the urge and then start.  But, billionaires cannot do that.  Icahn announced to the World back in February that he would start a blog.  Of course, unlike us common folks, there is so much planning, legal work, design work and negotiations that go into creating a blog.  They have to turn what is a simple, solitary and inexpensive task into something complicated, costly and they have to announce it four months ahead of time to the World.
