I Just Solved the Most Troubling Problem of Our Times

ADVERTISEMENTS
You long time readers know I get songs stuck in my head pretty frequently. Here's my experience with Neil Young, and here's the Jane's Addiction addiction.

But I just solved the problem of earworm for our generation.

I start with two premises:

1. When a song becomes stuck in your head, you can usually push it out by putting a DIFFERENT song in your head.

2. Once you listen to the song that's stuck in your head several times, it usually gets cleansed from your system and you can move on with your life.

Putting these premises together, the key is to find a song that will invariably push a song out of your head, but also one which you can easily listen to so you can get it out of your system.

That's where this song comes in:

Yeah. Exactly. You can thank me later.

Step 1, when you get a song stuck in your head, sing the chorus to this song. Come on. Do it once right now for practice. "High. Way. to. the. Danger Zone."

Step 2, come to this bookmarked EU post and watch this video.

Problem solved.

What's the next problem on the horizon for our generation? Let me know. I can probably solve that one too.
