Money Money

By "Daisy Duke"

ADVERTISEMENTS
Dear Undergraduate Institution:

I understand that Katrina really knocked your socks off. It pretty much crushed me too. And I appreciate the fact that you send me my alumni magazine because I actually read and enjoy it. And I've come back for a homecoming and will continue to return for years to come. Heck, I might even one day tell my kid that college in New Orleans is totally awesome. (Then of course I will have a mini-heart attack and curse the founders of the school for their placement choice.)

But?

I have no money.

So save your postage & quit asking.

Something about being an "unemployed recent law school graduate who is trying to study for the bar exam" isn't really helpful to the "influx of disposable income" department.

Futhermore, I think you are being a teensy bit ungrateful considering the donation of over $100,000 I gave you a few years back, with the check labeled 'tuition'. Lets not be greedy now.

Love,

Daisy

PS- Please forward this to my law school with the further message of "No Money For You Until You Fixy Career Services."
