Edwards is Back

In the notoriously difficult polling in the run up to the Nevada caucuses Saturday, John Edwards is with striking distance of winning.

This poll has it:

Obama: 32
Clinton: 30
Edwards: 27

Not bad for a guy who's been written off since Iowa. Even a second place finish for Edwards would catapult him back into the race, but an outright first place finish would really bring him some tangible momentum.

Would that matter going into South Carolina on January 26th? Would his momentum be swallowed whole by the Obama/Clinton narrative? We'll see.
