: Legal Pad | LABurke Williams picks up Menlo Park firm

Los Angeles-based Burke Williams picked up the six-attorney Menlo park firm Kay & Stevens, The Recorder reported.
At least five of Kay & Stevens' attorneys will lead the Menlo park office.
Burke Williams plans for the office to grow to triple or quadruple in size over the next two years, Burke Williams' John Welsh told The Recorder.
Burke Williams focuses on environmental, public, real estate and business law, while Kay & Stevens focuses on public-sector labor and employment law.
The merger was effective June 1.
