: Legally Blonde AmbitionAre You There God? It's Me, Daisy.
By "Daisy Duke"
In the meantime, my world, as I know it, continues to crumble a bit more around the edges. Of course, within the first week of Bar/Bri I would feel an amazing amount of disappointment in my overwhelming sense of "knowing nothing" but it has been compounded by some catastrophic break-ups of close couples in my closest group of friends. My heart hurts for some people tonight, and I know their hearts hurt more. Sometimes life is painful and I hope for sunnier days for all of them. It makes me hug BISMOW that much tighter, but then he starts to turn blue. Lack of oxygen and all.
And of course, back to the root of all evil, money. The realization of having no job (or income) with the feeling that this summer I really can't put any time into the job search because of my overwhelming sense of imminent failure (see post below re: Torts) and the feeling of having, oh, I don't know, NO INCOME, and, hello, law school graduates should not have to file for unemployment, please don't let it come to that, please, and I'm left feeling drained. Totally and emotionally drained.
And, to add a little more salt to my proverbial wounds I had a dentist appointment today (and we all know how I feel about him....being the family dentist of the Ex and all....) and of course, my teeth, while perfectly straight and healthy and clean are apparently held in place by perfectly healthy but rather sparse gums. And should this trend continue I'm going to become a prime candidate for gum grafting because um, this exposed roots on my molars thing really hurts. And I've had two surgeries in my whole life (wisdom teeth & tonsils) both in the past 10 years and both went miserably. To say I am a whiz at contracting complications would be an understatement of the century. Post operative infections? Dry socket? More infections? Abscesses? Severe post-op nausea and vomiting on open oral surgery wounds? Check check and check.
The best way to deal with this problem? Get my acid reflux under control. Which is governed by my stress. Which I handle quite well....cut scene to my ulcer acting up.
And with all this I'm going to bed. And I swear, I am enjoying my 25th birthday on Saturday so help me God.
