State Bar Appointments Available

From the Nevada State Bar: Consistent with the January 2008 Supreme Court Order relating to the defense of the indigent, Clark County has formed the Office of Appointed Counsel (OAC) to assign private counsel in appointed criminal cases. The State Bar of Nevada will appoint a member to the Office of Appointed Counsel Committee, which will review applications to join the Indigent Defense Panel (IDP), a group of attorneys approved to accept these cases.
