Lethal Injection Round-Up

Last night, Mississippi executed Earl Berry.  Reuters has this report, which notes that Berry's was the eighth execution in Mississippi since executions resumed in America in 1977.  It was the second execution in the nation this year; the 1,101st in the nation since 1977. Another execution is scheduled in Georgia this evening.  It would be the state's second execution since the Supreme Court ruling in Baze v.
