Saturday night with 600 of my closest Armenian friends

My friend got married last night and I was introduced to a little thing called the Armenian wedding. Here are some of the details worth mentioning:There were over 600 people there. I do not even know 600 people. There was a bottle of Johnnie Walker Black Label, Crown Royal, and Grey Goose vodka on every table. Wow.There were 12 bridesmaids.There were at least 10 different "money dances" which seemed to consist of different relatives dancing to the live traditional Armenian band while people came up and threw stacks of money high into the air so that it rained down on the dancers. At the end of the night I couldn't see the dance floor it was so covered. And someone had been sweeping up periodically.The food. There. Was. So. Much. Food. The table was covered with cold appetizers when we sat down, then about 7 different hot ones were brought out in waves...continue to full post
