Here's a list of lists, in no particular order:

• Classes My Top-Tier Law School Should Have Offered as Warnings about the Profession, E. Noakes, McSweeney's Internet Tendency (April 16, 2008). We hear there's a forthcoming list of clinical programs, too.


• The Book of Lists, David Wallechinsky and Amy Wallace. An old standby, great for fourth-graders trying to strike up conversations with members of the opposite sex.


• My Favorite Books on Past Lives and Pre-Incarnation Agreements, Janet Boyer, Listmania! As if contract law weren't confusing enough!


• Entertainment Reading During 3L Year of Law School, msjoanna, Listmania! What, 3L isn't entertainment in itself?


• Court Cases With Which I Am Familiar, Hudson Hongo, McSweeney's Internet Tendency (May 8, 2008). This is fabulous.


• 48 Heroes of Philanthropy, John Koppisch, Forbes (February 27, 2008). Who are philanthropy's anti-heroes?


• What to Know Before You Go: Permitted and Prohibited Items, Transportation Security Administration. "Piercings are not prohibited, but may alarm the metal detectors." Also: solid cosmetics OK; firearms, not so much!


• Lake Superior State University 2008 List of Banished Words. The perfect storm of wordsmiths giving back random surge of sweet pop phraseology.


• Toy Hazard Recalls, US Consumer Product Safety Commission. Dates back to 1975; includes the dreaded Weebles Tractor.


• US Supreme Court 2007-2008 Case List, Medill. Who knew that Northwestern, that party school to the north, was really hard at work all along!?
