The Perfect Patriots!!!

Wow... first the Red Sox, now the Patriots! Ok, so the Pats didn't win the championship tonight. But an undefeated season! The first in the NFL since 1972, and the only team ever to win 16 games in a row. Tom Brady broke the record for single season touchdown passes (50). Randy Moss broke the record for single season touchdown catches (23). The team set the record for the most amount of points scored in a single season (589). Bryant Gumbel called them the "undefeated dream team".

I think I even saw Coach Belichick smile...

According to Wikipedia, Bob Kraft, the team's owner, "made a commitment to Patriots fans [when he bought the team in January of 1994] that he would bring a Super Bowl and a state of the art facility for the team to New England. On the day the NFL approved his purchase, the fans responded by buying almost 6,000 season tickets en route to selling out every game for the first time in the team's 34-year history. Every home game has been sold out since."

Pats fans' faith has been rewarded.
